Philip Claeyssens

Managing Director

Dutch (native), French and English

Philip began his career in senior positions within the medical device industry, where he gained extensive experience in managing large teams and budgets.

A born entrepreneur, he moved into medical congress organisation in 2007 and later founded his own event agency, Meet U There. Combining his commitment to high professional standards with the analytical and organisational skills gained through his civil engineering background, Philip approaches every event with expertise, efficiency and strong interpersonal skills.

He has particular expertise in working with associations and organising medical conferences. Outside work, Philip is determined to make the most of life with his family and children. He loves connecting with people, spending time outdoors and taking on new challenges. His latest adventure has him knee-deep in a house renovation—but who knows what will come next?

Armony Lacroix

Senior Project Manager

French (native), English 

Armony has a graduate in Management and Communication. She has a wealth of experience in conferences and events management having worked in the industry since 2005. She has organised several of conferences and events from 10 to 10,000 delegates in locations throughout the Europeans sector, Nato agencies, Professional congress organisers (PCOs) and Association Management Companies (AMCs).

Joining MUT in 2022,  Armony has extensive experience of working on budget and coordination of suppliers. She has proven ability to work under pressure and has strong organisation skills.

Outside of work, she enjoys the peace and quiet of a good book, as well as travelling and discovering new cultures with her family.

Sylvie Herman

Senior Project Manager

French (native), English, Dutch

Sylvie began organising conferences and events worldwide in 2005, working with several agencies as well as independently. In 2013, joining Meet U There alongside her partner, Philip, was a natural next step.

Over the years, she has broadened her expertise by managing projects for both the public sector and the industry. Strategic, creative and solution-driven, Sylvie oversees every project from A to Z with vision, efficiency and a strong commitment to environmental responsibility.

Always enthusiastic about exploring new ideas, she is the creative mind behind the company. Outside work, Sylvie treasures quality time with her family while always finding an opportunity to meet friends and indulge her passion for good food.

 
 
 

Audrey Laguesse

Event Manager

French (native), English

Audrey holds a degree in Tourism Management and has built her career around two lifelong passions: events and people. She began her professional journey organising international conferences and business travel, developing extensive experience in event coordination, logistics and project management.

In 2008, Audrey moved into the relocation sector, assisting expatriates and their families as they settled in Belgium. This experience further strengthened her people-focused approach and her ability to provide tailor-made, seamless services. Joining Meet U There in 2025, Audrey now combines her talents to deliver every project with precision, care and close attention to detail.

Outside of work, Audrey enjoys travelling, learning languages and discovering new cultures. She firmly believes that the best experiences are created through careful planning, genuine collaboration and meaningful connections.

Yann Tavernier

Major Tom has been guiding clients through the digital world for over 25 years and has been a trusted partner of Meet U There since 2014. Pragmatic, straightforward and reliable, its team creates innovative websites, online shops and web applications that combine engaging design with effective, solution-driven technology.

For Meet U There, Major Tom developed a highly flexible registration management platform that includes accommodation, invoicing and participant management. The team also created a dedicated membership management platform for the associations managed by Meet U There.

But that’s not all. Major Tom helps organisations embrace change by supporting the migration of their existing systems to more efficient and productive online platforms.
